Truck Stuck Following Mudslide In Lake Hughes

LAKE HUGHES (CBSLS.com) — A vehicle got stuck after mud slid down a hill in the 42000 block of North Lake Hughes Road in Lake Hughes Wednesday.

The mudslide was reported at 3:05 p.m., said officials.

No buildings were involved.

Stu Mundel reporting in Sky 9 said it was the same location of the Powerhouse Fire. Rain today and yesterday caused the slide.

"It's unclear if the truck tried to navigate that mud afterwards or whether it came down while the truck was driving," reported Mundel.

No one was injured.

The road is shut until Caltrans crews can clear the slide.
