PCH To Remain Closed Due To Possible Rockslides In Ventura County

MALIBU (CBSLA.com) — The threat of rockslides has prompted the all-day closure of part of Pacific Coast Highway near Malibu.

The California Highway Patrol has shut down a 12-mile stretch between Yerba Buena and Las Posas roads in Ventura County.

The highway had previously been scheduled to reopen at noon.

Caltrans will continue to patrol PCH and clear debris outside the affected area.

Authorities advised motorists to drive with caution.
