Public's Help Sought In Finding Suspect In 2 Manhattan Beach Vehicle Burglaries

MANHATTAN BEACH (CBSLA.com) — Police Wednesday were asking for the public's help in identifying the suspect involved in two recent vehicle burglaries in Manhattan Beach.

The first incident took place Oct. 13 between 10:30 a.m. and 12 p.m. in the Northrop Grumman parking lot, 1801 Marine Ave. The suspect smashed the victim's vehicle window with a gas cap and stole her purse.

Another woman parked in her vehicle in the same parking on Oct. 26 and sometime between 6:11 p.m. and 6:21 p.m. a suspect smashed the vehicle's rear window and stole the victim's purse and Apple iPad.

Security footage from the scene revealed a red 2005 Ford Explorer parked next to both victim's vehicles during the time of the burglaries.
