Screenwriter Gregory Widen Discusses Novel 'Blood Makes Noise'

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Gregory Widen, an author and American screenwriter, appeared on KCAL9 News on Sunday morning to discuss his novel, "Blood Makes Noise."

The novel is set in the summer of 1955 when a CIA agent is given the mission of transporting the corpse of Eva Peron to a new hiding place in the wake of her husband's fall from power in Argentina.

Widen's new book, however, isn't the first instance where his writing has been transformed into a work of wide dissemination.

Widen also authored the script for what became known as the film, "Highlander", starring Sean Connery.

His other screenplays include, "Backdraft" and "The Prophecy."
