Hiker Missing For 5 Days In San Bernardino National Forest Rescued
ARROWHEAD SPRINGS, Calif. (AP) — A hiker who has been missing in the San Bernardino National Forest for five days has been rescued.
San Bernardino County Sheriff's spokeswoman Jodi Miller says 55-year-old Rodney Trumbo of Redlands was found Sunday afternoon after a helicopter crew spotted a fire that he started.
Rescuers hoisted him out of canyon near Arrowhead Springs and took him to a hospital for treatment of dehydration, and pain to the head and shoulders.
Miller said Trumbo was reported missing on Tuesday.
