Irvine Man Arrested For Indecent Exposure At OC College

COSTA MESA (CBSLA.com) — A 20-year-old Irvine man has been arrested for indecent exposure at an Orange County college.

Patrick B. Balahan was arrested Thursday evening at Orange Coast Community College, Costa Mesa police said.

Campus security contacted the Costa Mesa Police Department around 9 p.m. to report an indecent exposure suspect after an 18-year-old female student reported that she had been approached by a suspicious man in a parking lot.

"The male told the female he was conducting a survey and subsequently began asking the female student sexually explicit questions just before exposing his genitals to her," Lt. Scott said.

Officers located Balahan, who initially told them he was an OCC student. He admitted contacting the woman, but denied exposing himself.

Police then arrested Balahan, whose bail was set at $500.
