Palos Verdes Art Center Opens 'I Love My Dog' Exhibit

RANCHO PALOS VERDES (CBSLA.com) — The Palos Verdes Art Center in Rancho Palos Verdes has opened a new exhibit called "I Love My Dog."

The exhibit includes photos and portraits from the 19th and 20th century that depict the important role the dog has played in people's lives. There are also a series of contemporary dog houses designed by up-and-coming architectural students.

The art center is also planning to show a couple of classic silent films, such as "It's a Dog's Life" with Charlie Chaplin and "Where the North Begins" featuring Rin Tin Tin.
