Dodgers Postseason Tickets Are Sold Out

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Hours after putting postseason tickets on sale, the Los Angeles Dodgers announced they officially sold out.

Ticket demand was brisk for the Dodgers first postseason berth in four years.

Thursday, the Los Angeles Dodgers announced they would sell a limited amount of home playoff tickets for potential Division Series and National League Championship Series Friday after clinching the NL West Thursday afternoon in Arizona.

Followers of the Dodgers' official Twitter handle @Dodgers got the chance to purchase tickets at 9 a.m., but they quickly sold out, KNX1070's Vytas Safronikas reports.

Dodgers Postseason Tickets Go On Sale Friday

Tickets started at $36 and NLCS individual tickets started at $71.

Fans can secure 2014 season tickets along with special benefits for being a Dodger season ticket holder now by visiting www.dodgers.com/seasontickets. For a limited time, fans that pay 2014 season seats in full will be guaranteed Postseason rights to 2013 NLDS and NLCS home games at Dodger Stadium. Season ticket pricing starts at just $5 per game.
