Foothill Transit Bus Driver Possibly Fell Asleep Before Crashing Into Freeway Wall, Injuring 8
ALHAMBRA (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say a Foothill Transit bus driver may have fallen asleep before crashing into a wall on the connector between the westbound 10 and southbound 710 freeways.
Eight passengers have been taken to the hospital, according to the California Highway Patrol and Verdugo Fire Department.
The incident occurred at 8:47 p.m. in Alhambra.
A SigAlert was issued for the westbound 10 Freeway shortly after the crash but canceled two hours later.
