ALHAMBRA (CBSLA.com) — A mother and her 4-year-old daughter were dragged about 30 feet by a sports utility vehicle after the driver grabbed the woman’s purse in Alhambra.
Around 2 p.m. Monday, a man drove alongside a 44-year-old woman while she was walking with her daughter in the 1400 block of East Valley Boulevard, according to police Lt. Gabriel Ponce.
“The suspect grabbed the victim’s purse, causing the victim and her daughter to be dragged approximately 30 feet,” he said. “The suspect was last seen fleeing the area in the vehicle with the (purse).”
The victims were treated at the scene for abrasions.
A description of the suspect was not available.
