Woman Arrested After Allegedly Crashing SUV Into Police Cruiser, South LA Home
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A woman suspected of driving under the influence was in police custody Sunday after authorities say she crashed her sport utility vehicle into a home in South Los Angeles.
Los Angeles police Officer Bryan Segal says the crash happened about 1:25 a.m. at 90th Street and Normandie Avenue.
Prior to colliding into the home, authorities say the SUV crashed into a police cruiser and a tree.
At the time of the crash, the officers were several feet away from the patrol car conducting a separate traffic investigation.
Segal said no injuries were reported.
"The driver was under the influence and will be booked," he said.
The investigation is ongoing.
