Police Search For Men Who Allegedly Robbed Catering Truck Employees

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Los Angeles police are asking for the public's help in identifying two suspects who allegedly robbed catering truck workers earlier this month in Harvard Heights.

Around 2:10 a.m. Aug. 1, three MCD Catering employees were working in their truck parked in the 2000 block of West Venice Boulevard in the Olympic area when they saw two men park their car on the street and approach them.

One of the suspects removed a handgun from his waistband and demanded money from the victims.

The men then took the cash and fled the area.

The first suspect was described as Hispanic, 35 to 40 years old, 5 feet 5 inches tall, 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing army camouflaged pants and shirt.

The other man was described as Hispanic, between 19 to 25 years old, 5 feet 7 to 5 feet 8 inches tall, 170 to 180 pounds, with black hair.

The duo was driving a 2009 to 2013 white 4-door Toyota Corolla with paper plates with red lettering.
