Newborn Kittens Discovered In Dumpster In Castaic

SANTA CLARITA (CBSLA.com) — An entire litter of newborn kittens was discovered in a cardboard box in a trash dumpster in Santa Clarita Tuesday afternoon.

A man heard the kittens crying and called Citizens for Sheltered Animals, a nonprofit animal rescue organization.

The two girls and four boys still have their umbilical cords attached and are one to two days old.

They are being bottle fed every two hours at a foster home and will be put up for adoption when they are eight weeks old.
