Motorcyclist Killed In Pomona Collision With Sedan

POMONA (CBSLA.com) — A 41-year-old motorcycle rider was killed in a crash involving a sedan in Pomona, police said Sunday.

The 5:06 p.m. Saturday crash occurred on Mission Boulevard west of Myrtle Avenue, according to a statement issued by the Pomona Police Department.

First responders initially treated the victim at the scene but subsequently transported him via air ambulance to a hospital.

Shortly after 8 p.m., the victim succumbed to his injuries, the statement said.

Police said the driver of the sedan remained at the scene and was cooperative.

An investigation is ongoing.
