2 Fatally Shot After Leaving Lancaster House Party
LANCASTER (CBSLA.com) — Authorities Sunday said two men were fatally shot after leaving a house party in Lancaster.
The shooting occurred around 4:30 a.m. Sunday in the 44800 block of Hanstead Avenue.
Investigators say the victims were part of a group who had just left a party and were standing in front of a home down the street when an argument escalated.
"A verbal argument among the group turned into a physical altercation," according to a statement issued by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
Both men were shot multiple times in the upper torso. They died at the scene.
