$3.5 Million Indoor Pot Grow Found In Oxnard

OXNARD (CBSLA.com) — Authorities Saturday said a massive marijuana operation was discovered in Oxnard.

The indoor pot grow was found Thursday morning at a warehouse in the 2200 block of Statham Boulevard.

Oxnard police said in a department statement that narcotics officers confiscated more than 1,000 plants along with 20 pounds of dried marijuana.

The stash was valued at more than $3.5 million, according to police.

Police also found hydroponic equipment worth about $150,000. The seizure culminated a one-month investigation.

Police said they made two arrests in connection with the marijuana grow. The suspects were identified by authorities as Brandyn Cowgill and Julia Danilkevich.
