3 Injured After Shooting In Mid-City
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Three men were injured Monday after a passerby shot them in the Mid-City area of Los Angeles.
The shooting took place at 1:15 a.m. at 947 Magnolia Ave., police said.
A suspect, who was with two other men, reportedly walked up to the three victims, pulled out a gun and started shooting. One was hit in the left chest and another was shot in the abdomen and the left wrist, according to authorities.
The third victim fled the scene and noticed a leg wound after he arrived home and contacted police.
All three were transported to local hospitals. The first two underwent surgery and are expected to survive.
Investigators are looking for leads to the suspects. It is unclear whether the shooting was gang related.
