Additional Arrests Made In Connection With Skateboard Assault
HUNTINGTON BEACH (CBSLA.com) — Authorities Friday said at least two other juveniles have been arrested in connection with the severe beating of a 25-year-old man in Huntington Beach.
A press release issued by the city of Huntington Beach Police Department says one of the suspects was arrested on Thursday on a probation violation.
Officials expect charges to be filed for assault with a deadly weapon with great bodily injury, the statement said.
A second suspect was booked at Orange County Juvenile Hall, also on Thursday, for assault with a deadly weapon.
The alleged incident at Murdy Park on May 10, left 25-year-old Viktor Silcock severely beaten.
The statement said three other suspects, who were arrested on the day of the alleged attack, have since been charged.
A fourth arrestee was not charged and has since been released.
