It's Time To Have A Conversation 'Bout The Girls'

STUDIO CITY (KCAL9) — Many are responding to Angelina Jolie's announcement this week!

Josefa Salinas of HOT 92.3 and Sonia Jackson, writer/director of the stage play "Conversations 'Bout the Girls'", stopped by KCAL9 Thursday to tell viewers about the provocative and multi-faceted stage play about women and their breasts.

"Conversations" is an exploration into the lives of young girls and women and the relationships they have with their breasts, also known affectionately as "the Girls." It highlights all aspects of the breast, including breast cancer diagnosis, mastectomy, reconstructive surgery and survival.

The show is presented Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 7 p.m. from May 3-19 at Greenway Court Theatre, 544 N. Fairfax Ave.

Tickets are $25 and can be purchased online. $5 from every ticket sold benefits the Los Angeles County Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
