Worker Injured In Fall At OC Water Treatment Plant
HUNTINGTON BEACH (CBSLA.com) — A worker was rescued Thursday after falling at least 12 feet into a vaulted area at a water treatment plant in Huntington Beach.
The accident happened just after 11:30 a.m. at Plant 2 at the Orange County Sanitation District located at 22212 Brookhurst Street, fire officials said.
The man injured his back, wrist and suffered a possible femur fracture in the fall.
He was transported to a local hospital in stable condition, officials said.
