2 Missing Thousand Oaks Teens Found In Newbury Park

THOUSAND OAKS (CBSLA.com) — Two Thousand Oaks teens, who went missing on April 4, have been found safe in Newbury Park.

The Ventura County Sheriff's office says 13-year-old Nicholas Marino and his 14-year-old girlfriend, Kaylee Rebert, are in good health.

They were being taken a sheriff's station to be interviewed by investigators.

The teens were reported missing from their Thousand Oaks homes around 1 a.m. Thursday.

Authorities Friday called off their active physical search for the teens and deemed their investigation an "at-risk missing runaway case."

Detectives were led to believe the teens ran away because they left notes for their families.

Both Marino and Rebert are students at Redwood Middle School.
