Husband Named Suspect In Wife's Fatal Shooting In Montebello

MONTEBELLO (CBSLA.com) — Sheriff's Homicide detectives are asking the public to help them nab a murder suspect they say killed a woman in Montebello Saturday morning.

Officials say the victim arrived at her place of employment at about 8:30 a.m. in the 100 block of W. Washington Boulevard when she was confronted by her estranged husband.

Police say Arthur Andrade shot and killed his wife, Soria Esperanza, in the parking lot during an argument.

Officials said he shot her multiple times in the upper body with a handgun.

Esperanza, a resident of East Los Angeles, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Andrade, a 29-year-old Tustin resident, is 6 feet tall and 180 pounds. He has black hair and hazel eyes. He reportedly fled the location in a dark colored vehicle. Andrade  is considered armed and dangerous.
