Metro officials say the closure will affect the southbound lanes of the highway from the 101 Freeway to Getty Center Dr.

Those lanes are expected to be closed entirely from 1 to 7 a.m. Sunday.

Some ramps, however, are expected to close as early as 7 p.m. Saturday with some of the southbound lanes closing at 11 p.m.

The closure will allow crews to work on the reconstruction of the Mulholland Bridge.

Crews on Friday also closed the southbound off-ramp to westbound Wilshire. That ramp is expected to reopen by 6 a.m. on March 22, according to Metro officials.
