Suspect, 18, Accused Of Strong-Arming Boy, 11, Out Of His Christmas Scooter

COVINA (CBSLA.com) — An 18-year-old is accused of the strong-arm robbery of an 11-year-old on Christmas day.

Police say Francisco Rodriguez forcefully stole the boy's Christmas present -- a scooter.

The robbery took place in the 1400 block of Citrus Avenue in Covina around 2 p.m.

Sheriff's deputies in the San Dimas station said Rodriguez was arrested Friday.

Officials said they have recovered the stolen scooter.
