THOUSAND OAKS (CBSLA.com) — A Thousand Oaks business owner was behind bars Friday on suspicion of molesting several boys.

Investigators said that from August 2000 to September 2012, Haw, a co-owner of Tan LA Tanning Salon on Thousand Oaks Boulevard in Thousand Oaks, employed, befriended, and lured several teenaged boys between the ages of 12 to 19 years old.
Haw allegedly would allow victims to tan after hours, and while tanning, Haw would enter the room and molest them. Haw, a convicted felon, also owns several high performance vehicles that he allowed the boys to access.
Investigators believe that Haw targeted families in turmoil, as well as single-parent families with teenage boys. He befriended the mothers of the boys, gaining their trust and confidence, then sexually assaulted the victims, according to police.

His bail was set at $500,000. He is scheduled to be arraigned on Dec. 17.
