Shoppers Anxiously Await Target And Neiman Marcus Holiday Collection Set To Hit Stores Saturday

BURBANK (CBSLA.com) — Shoppers are getting ready to mob Target stores Saturday morning for the much-anticipated Neiman Marcus collection, which features the craftsmanship of some of fashion's most successful designers at a fraction of the price.

In the Target + Neiman Marcus holiday collection, labels that have dominated the runways will now find their way into the closets of consumers who are decidedly more middle-class.

From Oscar de la Renta to rag & bone to Tori Burch, there are all kinds of styles and all kinds of products.

Snag a set of four Altuzarra tumblers for $49.99, a retro chic gift for the dapper man on your shopping list.

A Marchesa girls' floral dress in pink is just $79.99, when their outfits typically sell for hundreds of dollars.

A gorgeous Lela Rose dress, featuring a watercolor print that graced their runway this season, is $99.99.

Looking to spoil your pet? Oscar de la Renta crafted a pink leather collar and leash for $39.99.

All of the designers featured are members of the Council of Fashion Designers of America, a non-profit organization that's celebrating their 50th anniversary this year.

The collection goes on sale online and in all Target and Neiman Marcus stores starting at midnight Saturday.

To avoid the shopping mayhem of previous designer collections, Target and Neiman Marcus are limiting shoppers to purchasing no more than five of the same item. All returns must be made by Jan. 5, 2013.
