Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Sept. 20)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — We have clear skies this morning and another day with warm temperatures inland.

The high pressure is peaking today although tomorrow will be very similar. We have mostly sunny skies with above average temperatures.

By tomorrow evening the high will begin to recede and a trough of low pressure will move into the west coast. This will translate into some marine layer developing at the coast and we will begin to cool down into the weekend.

As the trough and area of low pressure takes hold on Saturday and Sunday look for more clouds and temperatures dropping below average. While there may be a slight bump in temperatures by Tuesday next week...it appears for the long term we will be at or below average.

Coast-mid to upper 70s
Basin-mid to upper 80s
Valleys-near 100
Deserts-upper 90s
Mountains-mid 70s
