'Make It Quick Bandit' Possibly Strikes Again At Gardena Bank

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — The "Make It Quick Bandit," a man who reportedly robbed eight South Bay grocery store banks since 2009, seems to have done it again in Gardena on Friday.

The robbery happened around 11:30 a.m. at a Vons U.S. Bank branch at 1260 W. Redondo Beach Boulevard, according to Laura Eimiller of the FBI.

Eimiller said the suspect hit this particular bank three times so far.

The robber allegedly showed a note to a bank teller demanding cash.

U.S. Bank is now offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the man's arrest.

Police said the bandit has robbed banks in San Pedro, Inglewood, Carson, Gardena and Torrance.

In each robbery, he usually walks in the aisles before confronting the bank tellers.

Authorities described the suspect as about 25 to 35 years old, 5'10" to 6 feet tall, and weighing about 200 to 230 pounds.

He has dark hair, possibly thinning on top, and a goatee. He's been seen in surveillance video wearing sunglasses.
