No Arrests Made Following Alleged Scuffle At Jackson Family Home

CALABASAS (CBS) — Deputies were called to Katherine Jackson's home in Calabasas Monday afternoon following an alleged battery incident, Los Angeles Sheriff's Department spokesman Steve Whitmore said.

"Our deputies determined that a minor scuffle occurred between two Jackson family members," Whitmore told KCAL9's Bobby Kaple.

Whitmore won't say which family members were involved, but Radar Online is reporting that Janet, Jermaine and Randy Jackson have been barred from their mother's home after they allegedly tried to remove Michael's three kids from the property.

"I can't address any of the Internet chatter about who was involved or who wasn't involved," said Whitmore, who also confirmed that no arrests were made.

The matriarch's nephew filed a missing persons report Saturday at the Lost Hills Sheriff's Station in Agoura Hills because the pop star's three children hadn't been able to get in touch with their 82-year-old grandmother for almost a week.

Over the weekend, Jackson's granddaughter Paris tweeted, "Yes, my grandmother is missing. I haven't spoken to her in a week and I want her home now," which prompted Jermaine to tweet, "Let me put to bed today's nonsense. As I made clear some days ago mother is safe and well in Arizona."

"The missing persons case is closed. We have determined that she's safe and she's with family members," Whitmore said.

In April, the L.A. Sheriff's Department began investigating allegations that some Jackson family members were mistreating Katherine Jackson both emotionally and financially. Whitmore says Katherine was interviewed and denied those claims.
