Man, Woman Sought In Glendale Coin-Op Washer/Dryer Burglaries

GLENDALE (CBS) — Police on Tuesday asked for the public's help in finding seeking two suspects caught on camera burglarizing coin-operated washing machines and dryers in residential complexes in Glendale.

The male and female suspects are using an unknown tool, possibly a small crowbar, to pull the lock portion of the coin-operated unit apart. The change is then removed and the coin box is put back in place.

Losses have been as high as $95.50, police said.

The suspects are connected to at least three separate burglaries on the 400 block of Salem Street on May 14, 2012; the 10800 block of Palms Boulevard and the 400 block of South Hoover Street in Los Angeles, both on Sept. 18, 2011.

Anyone with information about the identity or whereabouts of these suspects is urged to contact Detective Comer at (818) 548-2097, Glendale Police Department, Burglary Detail.

If would like to remain anonymous, you may call Glendale Crime Stoppers at (818) 507-7867.
