LOS ANGELES (CBS) Lamar Odom could be returning to the team that originally drafted, the Los Angeles Clippers, according to ESPN.

The report says Odom,32, is close to signing with the Clippers after trade talks with the Dallas Mavericks have been going for a few days.

The deal could depend on the willingness of a third team to take on the contract of Clippers’ Mo Williams

Friday is the deadline, though it could be pushed back, for the Mavericks to buy out his contract of $2.4M.
