Lindsay Lohan Released From Hospital After Crash In Santa Monica

SANTA MONICA (CBS) — Actress Lindsay Lohan has been released from the hospital following a collision with a dump truck on Pacific Coast Highway.

Santa Monica Fire spokesman Capt. Judah Mitchell says firefighters responded to an accident in the 1100 block of Pacific Coast Highway just before noon Friday. Two people in a black Porsche, including Lohan, were taken to a local hospital via ambulance with minor injuries.

Santa Monica police say neither of the Porsche's occupants were impaired, but investigators are trying to determine who exactly was driving the Porsche at the time of the collision.

The crash reportedly totaled Lohan's car, a black Porsche.

A spokesman for the actress says she has been released from the hospital and returned to the set of her new movie, "Liz and Dick."
