Body Washes Ashore In Santa Monica
SANTA MONICA (CBS) — Authorities are investigating the death of a surfer or swimmer whose body washed ashore in Santa Monica Tuesday morning.
The body was discovered around 6 a.m. at the shoreline near Westminster Court and Pacific Avenue, according to CBS2's Mike Case, who was overhead in Sky2.
Los Angeles County and Santa Monica lifeguards were at the scene.
The apparent drowning victim was wearing a rash guard and swim trunks.
No other details were immediately released.
