Hollywood Police Question Woman For Reportedly Leaving 5-Year-Old Child Locked In Car

HOLLYWOOD (CBS) — Police were called to a car parked outside a supermarket with a 5-year-old child locked inside Monday afternoon, authorities reported.

The vehicle was left in a Ralphs parking lot at the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Poinsettia Place, according to Hollywood police.

SKY2  reported that the child's mother eventually returned to the car shortly after 5 p.m. and police questioned her.

She was not ticketed or charged with a crime.
