THE "PITCH TO WIN SWEEPSTAKES 2012"

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER TO WIN. THE CONTEST IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

1. How to Enter the Contest:
(a) The KCAL9 "PITCH TO WIN SWEEPSTAKES 2012," will begin on Monday, May 7, 2012 and end on Sunday, May 20, 2012 at 11:59PM PST. Contest is sponsored by Honda Regional Marketing.

(b) To participate in the contest, viewers must enter online at www.kcal9.com and complete the Entry Form provided with name, address, email address, age, and daytime phone number.

(c) KCAL9-TV ("Sponsor") is not responsible for late, lost, stolen, misdirected, misaddressed, postage due, incomplete or illegible entries. Sponsor is not responsible for technical or computer failures, errors or data loss of any kind, lost or unavailable Internet connections, or failed, incomplete, garbled or deleted computer or network transmissions, inability to access any Web site or on-line service, or any other error or malfunction, or late, lost, illegible or misdirected entries. Entry materials that have been tampered with or altered are void. If the judges determine, in their sole discretion, that there is any suspected or actual electronic tampering with the Contest or if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the Contest, the judges reserve the right to void the entries at issue and/or terminate the Contest and conduct a random drawing to award the prize among all eligible entries received as of the termination date. If the Contest is terminated due to tampering or technical difficulties prior to its expiration date, notice will be posted at www.kcal9.com. If, for any reason, the Contest is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Contest, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant that tampers with the operation of the Contest or website or violates the Official Rules of the Contest. By use of this website and by entering the Contest, you agree to the Sponsor's Web Site Terms of Use Agreement and to the use of your personal information as described in the Privacy Policy located at: www.kcal9.com.

(d) Viewers can enter as many times as they wish. An entry submitted is deemed to be made by the holder of the e-mail account.

(e) Broadcasts are subject to preemptions and scheduling changes. If such changes occur, they will be posted on the KCAL9-TV web site.

(f) Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received.

2. Eligibility Restrictions:

(a) The contest is open to Southern California residents who are 18 years of age or older. Employees of Honda Regional Marketing, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, governors, employees and agents, KCAL9-TV, KCBS-TV, CBS Corporation, other television and radio stations in the Los Angeles market, and their affiliates, subsidiaries and advertising agencies and their immediate family members and persons living in the same household are ineligible to participate or win.

(b) Viewers are eligible to win a prize valued at $600.00 or more only once every six months. Only one winner per household is permitted in any contest.

(c) Viewers are eligible to win a KCAL9-TV and KCBS-TV contest only once every sixty days. Only one winner per household is permitted in any contest.

(d) All entries become the sole property of Station and will not be returned. By entering, entrants agree to abide by these rules, and warrant and represent that their entry is their original work.

(e) Contestants are required to provide truthful information and the Station will reject and delete any entry that it discovers to be false or fraudulent. The Station will disqualify any entry from individuals who do not meet the eligibility requirements, and the Station will also delete any entry received from persons under the age of 13.

3. Prizes:

(a) Grand Prize Package: One Grand Prize Winner will receive $10,000.00.

(b) Qualifiers: Seven (7) Qualifiers will each receive: an invitation to come to the KCAL9 Studios located at 4200 Radford Avenue, Studio City, CA 91604, to participate in a pre-recorded Pitch To Win Segment on Saturday, June 2, 2012.

Pitch to Win Segments are scheduled to air during the following eight (8) Think Blue Pregame Show dates:

June 5, 2011
June 12, 2012
June 19, 2012
July17, 2012
July 31, 2012
August 21, 2012
September 11, 2012
September 27, 2012

(c) Qualifiers will have :30 seconds to attempt at each of the following from approximately 25 feet:

1) Throw a baseball into an approximately 16 inch diameter hole. If qualifier makes the hole, he/she will receive: one (1) Eric Karros autographed baseball. Approximate Value of Prize: $80.00.

2) Throw a baseball into an approximately 12 inch diameter hole. If qualifier makes the hole, he/she will receive: a 4-pack of professional baseball tickets. Approximate Value of Prize: $100.00.

3) Throw a baseball into an approximately 6 inch diameter hole. If qualifier makes the hole, he/she will receive: 42" Flat Screen Television. Approximate Value of Prize: $650.00.

(d) Qualifiers must make each specified throw (into three holes with the approximate sizes of 6 inch diameter hole, 12 inch diameter hole, and 16 inch diameter hole) within :30 seconds in order to win that designated prize.

(e) Qualifiers must make all three (3) throws into each of the sized hole (6 inch diameter hole, 12 inch diameter hole, and 16 inch diameter hole) within :30 seconds in order to advance to the finals for a chance to win the $10,000 Grand Prize.

(f) Dimensions based on KCAL9 specifications, not professional baseball or any other softball or baseball franchise (little league, etc) regulations.

(g) All other costs and expenses in connection with qualifiers/winner receipt and use of the prize(s) are the qualifiers'/winner's sole responsibility. Qualifiers/Winner are responsible for all other expenses not specifically set forth herein, including gratuities, transportation, expenses and other incidentals. Inability of the qualifiers/winner to accept prize, as stated, will result in forfeiture of prize and an alternate qualifier/winner will be chosen. Other restrictions may apply.

(h) All prizes or prize certificates may be picked up at the office of KCAL9-TV, 4200 Radford Ave, Studio City, CA 91604. Any prize or prize certificate not claimed within 48 hours of winning will be forfeited by the qualifiers/winner. In the event that a prize or prize certificate is mailed to the qualifiers/winner, it will be with the prior written consent of the qualifiers/winner and therefore, the qualifiers/winner assumes the risk of its arrival. KCBS-TV/KCAL9-TV is not responsible for the safe arrival of a prize or prize certificate.

(i) Contest prizes are not transferable. Prizes may not be substituted for or redeemed for cash. Station reserves the right to substitute prize of comparable value.

4. Selection of Winners:

(a) Qualifiers and Alternate Qualifier:
Qualifiers and alternate qualifiers will be randomly selected to participate in one (1) of the seven (7) pre-recorded Pitch to Win Segments. The eighth (8th) segment will be the ThinkBlueTV Pitch to Win Finals.

(b) Grand Prize Winner:
Each Qualifier(s) who throws the baseball into all three (3) sized holes in the qualifying round will advance to the ThinkBlueTV Pitch to Win Finals that will be pre-recorded on Saturday, June 2, 2012 and scheduled to air during the KCAL9 ThinkBlue Pregame Show on Thursday, September 27, 2012. Each Qualifier(s) will have one (1) chance to throw a baseball into the 6 inch diameter hole.

In the event that there are no qualifiers to advance to the finals, KCAL9 officials will select one (1) qualifier in a random drawing to be selected to participate to throw one (1) baseball into a 6 inch diameter hole for $10,000.

In the event that there are two or more qualifiers that advance to the finals, KCAL9-TV reserves the right to execute the Grand Prize selection through one of the following scenarios:

i) KCAL 9 will have a "pitch off" to determine the qualifier that will throw for the Grand Prize. The "pitch off" will be conducted in the following manner:
Each qualifier will have a chance to throw a ball in the 6 inch diameter hole. If the qualifier makes the hole, they are in contention for the Grand Prize. If the qualifier misses it, they are eliminated from contest and will not win the Grand Prize. If two or more qualifiers make the hole, the qualifiers will each get to throw another ball into the 6 inch diameter hole. If the qualifiers continue to make the hole, they remain in contention for the Grand Prize. The "pitch off" will continue until all but one qualifier misses the hole. The qualifier that did not miss the hole during the "pitch off" will win the $10,000. If none of the qualifiers make the hole, no qualifier shall be awarded the $10,000.

ii) KCAL 9 will select a qualifier at random (e.g. coin toss, etc.) to determine the qualifier that will throw for the Grand Prize.

In the event that the selected qualifier is unable to participate on Saturday, June 2, 2012 an alternate qualifier will be selected to take the place of the qualifier.

(c) A representative of KCAL9-TV will contact the qualifiers by telephone. If KCAL9-TV is unable to contact a qualifier based on the information provided on the entry form through the initial phone call, an alternate qualifier will be randomly selected from all other eligible entries. Qualifier(s) must be present on the phone to win and accept the prize as stated. KCAL9-TV is not responsible for any qualifier's inability to answer their phone(s) when prize(s) are being awarded by KCAL9-TV.

(d) The Qualifiers and Grand Prize winner will be required to sign and return to KCAL9-TV an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release of Liability form immediately upon notification. Inability to do so will result in a forfeiture of the Grand Prize and an alternate winner will be selected.

(e) Decisions of the contest sponsors with respect to the contest are final.

5. Conditions:

(a) Payment of all federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner and winners may receive an IRS Form 1099 or equivalent from Station.

(b) By participating in the contest, the winners agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest, and to sign a publicity release, affidavit of eligibility and release of liability prior to acceptance of the prize. By accepting the prize, each winner grants to Station the right to use the winner's name, voice, picture and/or likeness for purposes of advertising and publicity in any and all media now known or hereafter invented, without further permission or additional compensation (except where prohibited by law). All expenses on receipt and use of prize, and all federal, state and local taxes, are the sole responsibility of winner. Winners, by acceptance of their prizes, agree to release Honda Regional Marketing, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, governors, employees and agents, KCAL 9-TV, KCBS-TV, CBS Corporation, their respective parents and subsidiaries, officers, directors, shareholders and their respective advertising, promotion and production agencies from any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership or use of the prize or while preparing for, participating in, and/or traveling to any prize-related activity. Void where prohibited by law.

6. Contest Sponsors reserve the right to make changes in the rules of the contest which will become effective upon announcement.

7. Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest or in the announcement of the prize.

8. Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant's disqualification.
