FBI: 'AK-47 Bandit' Behind Chino Robbery May 'Strike Anywhere Next'
CHINO (CBS) — A gunman who robbed a Chino bank last month with an assault rifle has been active recently in Northern California.
KNX 1070's John Brooks reports now the feds are offering a $20,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.

The so-called "AK-47 Bandit" was last seen in Southern California wearing a dark ski mask and a bulletproof vest when he shot a police officer in the leg at the California Bank & Trust back in February.
"We have an individual who not only robbed a bank, but also shot a police officer, got away, and is continuing to commit robberies," said FBI spokeswoman Laura Eimiller.
The suspect has also robbed banks in Sacramento and Vacaville while armed with the same assault rifle seen in Chino and what appeared to be a police bulletproof vest, which may or may not be a "knockoff", Eimiller said.
He is believed to be driving a charcoal grey 4-door Nissan Maxima with tinted windows, a chrome package, and Arizona license plates.
