The name on the ID was Joao Pedro dos Santos, and according to the translated Brazilian report, there was “no physical similarity” between the suspect and the 74-year-old Oscar winner.

The suspect, Ricardo Sergio Freire de Barros, had apparently been using fake IDs to open bank accounts and credit cards with high limits for months, then would default on the debts, according to police.
