Kobe Bryant led all scorers with 27 points in almost 45 minutes, while Gasol added another double-double scoring 25 points and pulling down 14 rebounds.

Both teams went scoreless for the final 1:29 of overtime after Andrew Bynum tipped-in  Bryant's miss to give the Lakers a one-point lead.

"I thought this was an awful game," Celtics coach Doc Rivers told reportes after the game. "If we had won, it would have been an awful game that we won. Give them credit: A lot of that was defense. But I thought a lot of it was self-inflicted."

Up next for the Lakers, a short flight to New York to face Jeremy Lin and the New York Knicks.
