For this weekend only, a gallery of wonderful – and affordable – art will treat locals at the Event Deck at L.A. Live.

In the heart of Los Angeles, locals and visitors will convene in celebration of artistic expression through the weekend as Affordable Art Fair takes temporary residence at the Event Deck at L.A. Live. After twelve successful years of presenting original, contemporary art to people in cities across the globe, the Fair visits LA for the very first time. The fair provides a space where emerging and established artists from all over the world have an opportunity to reach locals and visitors to present some of very unique, creative pieces of contemporary art.

Contemporary art was once viewed as a luxury, solely accessible by the elite. Affordable Art Fair is changing this perspective by offering original works of art by living artists at attainable price points (which range from $100 to $10,000).

With an understanding that artistic preferences vary from region to region, the Fair will present original paintings, sculptures, and photographs specifically chosen to fit the lifestyle and culture of California in addition to works of art presented by artists from all over the world. Whether you’re visiting simply to walk through the gallery to admire the creative expression of local, national, and international artists or you’re interested in adding a piece to your collection, Affordable Art Fair is a serene creative space to spend an afternoon.

The Fair will offer rich programming to include educational presentations, sponsored talks, curated exhibitions, and hands-on children’s activities. Families with children should explore the LittleCollector Lounge, which will feature a contemporary art gallery created specifically for kids. Over the weekend, special programs such as the Shadow Puppet Workshop and Just Like Andy will be available to help stimulate children’s imagination and artistry.
