City Of Riverside To Offer Ticket Amnesty Next Month

RIVERSIDE (CBS) — If you've avoided paying your parking tickets, now is the time to come up with the cash.

Starting next month, the city of Riverside is offering ticket amnesty. You will be able to pay any parking ticket from 2007 to 2011 without late fees.

Tickets are usually $41, but late fees add on another $55.

After February, unpaid tickets can go to the DMV, which could hold up your car registration. They may also go to the tax board, which could add to your tax bill.
