Couple Recovering After Being Attacked By Naked Bodybuilder In Colton

COLTON (CBS) — A husband and wife have been released from the hospital after they were attacked by a naked, 300-pound bodybuilder over the weekend.

The couple was attacked by Ruben Arzu, 22, on their front porch Saturday night. The 35-year-old man suffered head trauma and serious injuries, according to officials.

Arzu then reportedly attacked the 34-year-old woman, picking her up and throwing her around. The woman suffered facial injuries and cuts.

Police said Arzu was likely under the influence of steroids and other drugs at the time of the attack.

When police arrived on the scene, officers tasered Arzu and he didn't respond. He was finally arrested by four officers who had to use four sets of handcuffs on him, police said.

Arzu is being held by police at a local hospital on suspicion of attempted homicide.
