Walk, Don't Run, For Black Friday Deals At Target Stores

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — If you're one of several thousand Southland residents hoping to score Black Friday deals at Target, don't bring your running shoes.

The company says it will prohibit eager shoppers from storming in when doors open at 12 a.m. on Friday.

Stores will only allow 30 people to enter every 15 seconds, and managers have received special training to control the large crowds.

Some Target employees are hoping the giant retailer will rethink its plan to open stores so early. They claim the early opening will take many workers away from their families for a big part of Thanksgiving.
