Paramedics Transport 16 To Hospitals Following Rave Downtown


LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Another big overnight music party held Saturday in downtown Los Angeles required 16 transports to local hospitals.

In all, firefighters provided medical treatment for 31 people at the fourth-annual "Hard Summer Music Festival," said Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles City Fire Department.

The rave was  held at the Los Angeles State Historic Park next to the Olvera Street Plaza, authorities said.

None of the injuries appeared to be life threatening.

No word yet on how many arrests, if any were made.
