Domestic Violence Call Takes Deadly Turn In Chatsworth
CHATSWORTH (CBS) — Police believe a man drowned himself in a pool at a Chatsworth home after allegedly attempting to murder a woman.
Los Angeles police Sgt. John Kielbasa said police received a domestic violence call about 12:30 a.m. Saturday from the home in the 20200 block of Lassen Street.
According to Kielbasa, responding officers found a woman with a stab wound to the neck and a man drowned in the pool.
The injured woman was taken to a nearby hospital. Her current condition was unknown.
While the investigation remains ongoing, Kielbasa said the case appeared to be an attempted murder-suicide.
The names of both were not immediately released.
