Downtown's July Art Walk Celebrates Food, Art And Fashion Thursday

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Art lovers can converge on downtown LA Thursday for July's Art Walk.

July's walk is a block party, combining art, food and fashion in the heart of the fashion district at 7th and Spring streets. The walk is just a few blocks from Gallery Row and lasts from 6 p.m. – 10 p.m. Area restaurants will also stay open late for patrons.

Parking is only $3, but $5 will not only get you a spot for your car, but a beer in your hand.

The Downtown Art Walk is free and takes place on the second Thursday every month.

Each Art Walk features a Lounge and is the official visitor's center of downtown's walk. July 14's lounge is located in the Paragon Parking Lot, 434 S. Spring St. This month's lounge features the SoBe 'Try Everything Experience' where visitors can screen print T-shirts, posters and more, try a variety of SoBe products and view local art. Complimentary refreshments are also given away.
