July 22: Downtown LA
KFWB NEWS TALK 980 is downtown Los Angeles with "KFWB on Your Corner" today as the station continues its monthly close-up look at communities throughout Southern California.
The City Club on the 54th of the Wells Fargo will host a day of live broadcasts and a special business leader luncheon. KFWB will examine many of the downtown area's hot political issues, improvement projects, urban living, tourism, sports and transportation. Special guests will be announced soon.
The live broadcast will begin at 5am with LA's Morning News anchored by Penny Griego & Phil Hulett. Personal finance expert Bob McCormick will host Money 101 from 9am – 11am and motivational speaker Les Brown will be on from 2pm – 4pm. LA's Afternoon News with Maggie McKay & Michael Shappee closes out the day from 4pm – 7pm.
Additionally, Brown will host a luncheon for downtown business leaders where he'll deliver his straight-from-the-heart, high-energy message about improving productivity.
