Investigators Search Near Highway 101 For Missing Girl's Remains
SANTA BARBARA (CBS) — Investigators have begun searching near Highway 101 for the remains of a 7-year-old girl who disappeared nearly 50 years ago.
Crews have started to dig up some areas next to an overpass in Goleta based on findings from a search last Wednesday in which cadaver dogs were used to look for evidence of Ramona Price.
The overpass was under construction 50 years ago when Price vanished.
Serial killer Mack Ray Edwards, who was on that construction crew, told fellow prison inmates that he used to bury his victims in dirt under the roads that he built.
