LOS ANGELES (CBS) — A 26-year-old Sylmar man, who allegedly ran over his father with a sport utility vehicle, pleaded not guilty Friday to murder and attempted murder.

Martin Martinez, who is confined to a wheelchair, appeared in court Friday and was being held in lieu of $1 million bail.

Police say Martinez enraged by an argument with family members got into his SUV, which he had to operate with hand controls, and allegedly aimed the car at his dad and brother.

A dead and an injured men are not enough evidence to keep this guy in jail? Bring the dead guy to testify and tell his own version of the incident. They started arguing over who was the one who drunk the last beer without asking the killer.
