Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (June 7)

STUDIO CITY (CBS) — A broad trough is now in place along the West coast, with a ridge of high pressure just to the West.

This is a typical pattern for June, but a series of lows are going to help keep our temperatures below average. Expect low clouds to form again overnight Tuesday as a coastal Eddy spins up. A couple of cut-off lows drop into the area over the weekend, but all we can expect from that may be some increased high clouds followed by some gusty winds.

Tuesday should be a decent day with sunny skies, however daytime highs will be about 6 to 7 degrees below average for this time of year.

Coastal - upper 60s
Basin - low 70s
Valleys -upper 70s
Deserts - upper 70s
Mountains - mid 60s
