MLB Hopes To Conclude Dodgers Financial Inquiry By June 22
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Major League Baseball officials announced Wednesday that they hope to conclude their inquiry into the Dodgers finances by the end of June.
The commissioner's office has set a date of June 22, the same day of a court hearing where a judge will decide whether the Dodger are co-owned by the McCourts as a community property or if Frank McCourt is the sole owner.
On Tuesday, KNX 1070 confirmed that McCourt was able to make the Dodgers payroll through cash advances drawn on the team's corporate sponsorship deals.
